ComCom Cautions “Agromedia” for Product Placement Violation

The communications Commission has issued a written caution to “Agromedia” for violating product placement rules. In May 2023, the Commission monitored the programmes aired by the broadcaster and established a violation of product placement rules. Specifically, the programme in question encouraged viewers to purchase a product, highlighted the positive aspects and affordability of the product, specified store locations, and featured information on special offers and services. Furthermore, product logo was displayed on numerous occasions. 

Due to the fact that “Agromedia” did not commit any violations in the past year, the Commission issued the broadcaster with a written caution.
