The Communications Commission has issued a written caution to the TV broadcaster BMG for violating the Law on Broadcasting. The case concerns the unlawful broadcasting of a story that was funded by the political union Lelo for Georgia.

Having studied the case, the Commission concluded that the broadcaster violated the Law of Georgia on Broadcasting, which prohibits political parties from financing broadcasters, procuring their services and financing, directly or indirectly, the production and broadcasting of programmes. Therefore, the Commission issued BMG with a written caution.
