The Communications Commission has issued a written caution to “Radio Holding Fortuna” for violating sponsorship rules. In May 2023, ComCom carried out monitoring activities and identified violations in the broadcasts of radio stations Fortuna, Fortuna Plus and Avtoradio. 

Specifically, the violation concerned the Law of Georgia on Broadcasting and the “Guidelines for Referring to Sponsors” approved by the Communications Commission, according to which, any reference to a sponsor may not highlight its special characteristics, contain an advertising message and/or encourage the audience to purchase or consume a product. 

Due to the fact that “ Radio Holding Fortuna” did not violate the sponsorship rules in the past year, the Commission issued the broadcaster with a written caution.
