The Communications Commission as issued a written caution to Sezoni TV for violating copyright and related rights. Based on a complaint received by the Commission, it monitored the broadcasts of Sezoni TV and found that the broadcaster violated the Law of Georgia on Copyright and Related Rights.

More specifically, in October 2023, Sezoni TV violated copyright laws by airing material produced by Teleimedi without the latter’s permission. Moreover, during the broadcasting of the programme, the Teleimedi logo was partially obscured, while the programme title incorporated in the material was altered. 

Due to the fact that Sezoni TV had not carried out similar violations within the past year, the Commission issued the broadcaster with a written caution.
