ComCom Delivers "AI for Employment" Training to Students at the Youth Agency Summer Camp
Within the framework of the Youth Events Support Programme of the Youth Agency, the Communications Commission delivered a training session titled "Artificial Intelligence for Employment" to approximately 60 students participating in the Agency's summer camp. The training was held at the Justice Training Centre of Kvareli and was led by Nino Gvagvalia and Tamuna Chikava, trainers from the Digital Support Programme of the Communications Commission.
The programme is designed to help young people develop future-oriented competencies and skills. During the seminar, participants explored topics including innovative AI tools and their effective use; integrating AI into professional development and the job search process; using AI as a personal assistant for employment; local and international employment platforms; optimising LinkedIn profiles; and other practical applications of AI for career development. Participants learned how AI can serve as a personal assistant by supporting tasks such as drafting CVs, generating cover letters and conducting information searches, helping them save time and complete everyday tasks more efficiently. The training also highlighted how proficiency with innovative AI tools equips young people with future skills that are increasingly valued by employers. Integrating AI into the employment process enables job seekers to filter vacancies more effectively, prepare for interviews through simulations, and better align their skills with labour market demands. In addition, participants were introduced to local and international employment platforms that open opportunities for freelancing, remote work, and international internships. The training provided practical tools to help young people approach the job market with greater confidence, present themselves as digitally competent professionals, and use AI responsibly to improve productivity.
The Communications Commission began its cooperation with the Youth Agency last month with the objective of increasing young people's awareness and expanding access to educational opportunities. The partnership aims to strengthen youth centres and youth spaces, support their strategic development, and improve communication with young people. Within their respective areas of responsibility, the two institutions will cooperate on implementing youth-focused projects and raising awareness of public services and government programmes available to young people. As part of this cooperation, initiatives will be implemented to improve awareness of state programmes and services, while youth centres and spaces across Georgia will be further developed as important platforms for communication between the state and young people, non-formal education, and access to public services.
The Youth Events Support Programme seeks to promote the personal and social development of young people through non-formal education, encourage healthy lifestyles and social responsibility, and raise awareness of active citizenship and patriotic values.
