ComCom Digital Support Programme has 400 Beneficiaries in Senaki
The Communications Commission continues to implement the Digital Support Programme in the Municipality of Senaki, where 30 seminars have already been held, while the number of beneficiaries exceeds 400. During the meetings, beneficiaries learned about digital literacy and safe use of the internet, as well as finding the desired information online, using Google applications and social platforms, etc.
The target villages of the programme in the Municipality of Senaki are: Betlemi, Isula, Lebaghature, Ledzadzame, Legogie-Nasaju, Mokhashi, Potskho, Saodishario, Satkebuchavo, Shromiskari, Shua Khorshi, Tsizeti, Ushapati, and Zana. As part of the Digital Support Programme, more than 8,100 citizens from different regions in Georgia have been trained in digital literacy, safe use of the internet and the use of state electronic services since 2022.
The Digital Support Programme is part of the Log-in Georgia project, which is co-funded by the World Bank and the European Investment Bank. It is being implemented to support the Georgian State Internetization Programme. The project aims to provide around 500,000 people in rural settlements in Georgia with access to affordable high-quality internet services, as well as to help develop digital skills and facilitate the use of digital services.
