ComCom Extends the Broadcasting Licenses of Three Radio Stations by 10 Years
The Communications Commission has extended the radio broadcasting licenses of Radio Georgian Times, Radio Holding Fortuna and Kvemo Kartli TV and Radio Company by 10 years. All three companies applied for an extension of their license terms. In accordance with the Law of Georgia on Broadcasting, ComCom extended their licenses until 2036.
The license fees amounted to GEL 10,692 for Radio Georgian Times, GEL 2,835 for Radio Holding Fortuna, and GEL 6,885 for Kvemo Kartli TV and Radio Company.
The licenses of Radio Holding Fortuna and Radio Georgian Times were set to expire on 25 February 2026, while the license of Kvemo Kartli TV and Radio Company was due to expire on 4 March 2026.
