To raise awareness among young people about the telecommunication industry, the Communications Commission held a public lecture at Kutaisi International University on 5G technology.

During the meeting, the ComCom Head of Spectrum and Technology Department, Sandro Karumidze gave students detailed information about the advantages of 5G technology, its distinguishing features from the already implemented technologies, current global trends and the prospects for Georgia in this field. The participants also learned about the processes and activities implemented by ComCom for the purpose of introducing 5G internet in the country.

Public lectures on the implementation and development of new technologies will continue at other universities in the future.
