ComCom Holds Seminars in Ozurgeti and Chokhatauri on the Use of eAuction.ge

As part of the Digital Support Programme, the Communications Commission held seminars in the municipalities of Ozurgeti and Chokhatauri on the use of eAuction.ge – the electronic portal of the National Agency of State Property (NASP). The seminar was chaired by the head of the Strategic Development Department at NASP Ketevan Kiknadze. Topics of discussion included the purpose of the portal, its capabilities and the terms of use. More than 50 entrepreneurs and local government representatives took part in the meetings.

Apart from providing training modules for digital literacy and safe use of the internet, the Digital Support Programme facilitates the use of state electronic services by the population in rural areas, and organises the relevant seminars in this field.

The Log-in Georgia project is co-funded by the World Bank and the European Investment Bank. It is being implemented to support the Georgian State Internetization Programme. The project aims to provide around 500,000 people in 1000 villages and rural settlements in Georgia with access to affordable high-quality internet services, as well as to help develop digital skills and facilitate the use of digital services.
