ComCom Issues Palitra News and Obieqtivi with Violation Protocols for Unlawful Placement of Political Advertising

The Communications Commission has deemed Palitra News and Obieqtivi to have violated the Election Code of Georgia and issued them with violation protocols.

According to the Election Code of Georgia, public broadcasters, community broadcasters and national general broadcasters must place free political advertising. Due to the fact that Palitra News and Obieqtivi do not fall under any of the listed categories, they are prohibited from allocating airtime to electoral subjects for the placement of free political advertising.
