ComCom Launches the Digital Support Programme in Chiatura
The Communications Commission has launched the Digital Support Programme in the municipality of Chiatura, holding informational meetings with representatives of the local authorities and mayors in target villages. Participants of the meetings were provided with detailed information about the programme, which promotes the functional and practical use of the internet by the local population, and is open to the residents of the target settlements in the municipality of Chiatura. Trainings will be held on the following topics: targeted and safe use of the internet, artificial intelligence literacy, and the internet for employment. ComCom representatives also met with the head of the Chiatura Resource Centre and local school principals to familiarise them with the programme.
The Communications Commission will conduct trainings in 40 target villages in the municipality of Chiatura. The target settlements are: Begiauri, Bigha, Bzhinevi, Darkveti, Didi Katskhi, Etseri, Gezruli, Gundaeti, Itkhvisi, Kalauri, Katskhi, Khalifauri, Khreiti, Kvatsikhe, Kveda Beretisa, Kveda Chalovani, Mandaeti, Mechkheturi, Merevi, Mordzgveti, Nigozeti, Rgani, Tskhilati, Sakurtse, Salieti, Skindori, Sveri, Tabagrebi, Tkemlovana, Tsasri, Tsirkvali, Tskalshavi, Tskhrukveti, Tvalueti, Usakhelo, Vachevi, Zeda Beretisa, Zeda Chalovani, Zedubani, and Zodi.
Residents of the aforementioned settlements aged 14 and above can attend the trainings for free.
