ComCom Media Academy Hosts a Seminar by Rusudan Gorgiladze

The Media Academy of the Communications Commission held a seminar “What is Europe?” for journalists and students of the faculty of journalism. The meeting was chaired by psychologist Rusudan Gorgiladze – a doctoral candidate at the University of Hildesheim and Regional Director for Eastern Europe at the Harvard Alumni Association, who was also a research fellow at the Harvard University Weatherhead Center for International Affairs and part of the state delegation working on EU-Georgia partnership and cooperation.

The meeting discussed the history of the creation and expansion of the European Union, the formation of the institutions of the European Union, and the political and cultural diversity of Europe. In addition, the trainer talked about the role of Georgia in the European space in the context of significant global geopolitical changes.

For more than five years, the Media Academy has been offering free seminars and other qualification-enhancing activities to media representatives and persons interested in this field.
