The “Masterclass” programme of the ComCom Media Academy has been expanded with a series of online lectures by media manager and Director of the Georgian Public Broadcaster Tinatin Berdzenishvili. The masterclass consists of 5 online lectures that are available on the Media Academy YouTube channel free of charge.

The author of the lectures details the basic principles of modern management, the organisational challenges faced by managers, the significance of having a mission and a vision, organisational structure and vertical management. She also provides recommendations based on her own experience.

Apart from Tinatin Berdzenishvili, the “Masterclass” series of the Communications Commission has ten other authors, including journalist Eka Beridze, playwright Basa Janikashvili, journalist Tamta Sanikidze, photojournalist Davit Mdzinarishvili, cameraman Davit Chkhikvishvili, producer Giorgi Khaburzania, journalist Maka Antidze, TV presenter Nikoloz Tsulukidze and BBC quality management manager Natia Abramia.

For two years now, the Media Academy has been giving people interested in journalism the opportunity, through the online masterclass, to learn from professional authors about everything that a professional journalist needs to prepare a high-quality media product. The online lectures have received a total of over 2.5 million views since the start of the project.
