The Media Academy of the Communications Commission and the Department of Strategic Communications and PR of the Ministry of Defence have organised practical training in the coverage of military operations for journalists and students of the Faculty of Journalism. Training was conducted by journalist Davit Kakulia with the assistance of military personnel.

During the practical training, participants learned about the planning of military operations, the issues that must be taken into account by media representatives when covering such operations, as well as the safety standards in a war zone. Participants were also given information about providing first medical aid. At the end of the meeting, all participants received an appropriate certificate.

For over three years, the Media Academy has been conducting practical and theoretical training to develop the media standards and raise the qualifications of people employed in this field.
