The Media Academy of the Communications Commission organised a two-day seminar designed to enhance the qualifications of journalists. The seminar was presented by journalist Maka Antidze, who has 30 years of experience in the media industry. She worked at the Caucasus Bureau of Reuters as Head of the Bureau and Chief Correspondent. Earlier she was a correspondent for Associated Press.

During the meeting, Maka Antidze provided the participants with detailed information about story telling, reporting, interview preparation and recording techniques. Furthermore, she shared her experience of covering emergency situations, business and economic news with theoretical and practical examples.

For more than four years, the Media Academy has been offering media representatives seminars by leading industry specialists and other qualification enhancing activities.
