ComCom Media Lab Announces 7th Edition of Ideadrome

The Media Lab of the Communications Commission has launched the 7th edition of the startup idea contest “Ideadrome.” This year, the theme of the contest is “From the Product to A-Series.” The aim of the contest is to support startups that have already created a minimum viable product (MVP) and are planning to move to the next stage. The contest will help the startuppers improve, develop and realise their ideas.

As part of the contest, participants must submit a 1-minute video presentation to present their product. The qualifying contest will be followed by the selection of 5 best teams, which will receive advice from professional mentors on improving their startups. Participants will undergo training and familiarise themselves with both the tried and newest methods of developing the product and finding customers. Furthermore, they will learn the methods of finding investors and conducting negotiations, test themselves in product presentation, and consult industry specialists. Following the intensive week-long training, a competent jury panel will identify the winning teams. The prize fund amounts to GEL 10,000.

STORI, one of the past winners of Ideadrome who helps customers with brand development and creation of unique content through artificial intelligence, has already managed to obtain USD 500,000 in funding from various investors, and continues to develop.

The Media Lab has already held 6 editions of “Ideadrome,” with the winners having already taken their products to the international market.
