ComCom Media Lab Holds 10th Edition of “Ideadrome”
The Media Lab of the Communications Commission has successfully held the startup contest Ideadrome for the tenth time. The Commission identified 3 winners who received cash prizes of GEL 5000 and GEL 2500. Ideadrome serves to discover startups and support them in product development.
The first place went to the AdMagica AI project, which helps e-commerce businesses save costs and create sales-oriented advertising and marketing strategies using artificial intelligence.
The second place was shared by the startups HALF-CHAIN and Paralegal, who split the prize money evenly. HALF-CHAIN is a platform that automatically converts user-written requests into smart contracts using AI, while also verifying compliance with legal regulations and enabling users to easily create secure smart contracts. As for Paralegal, it is a digital assistant for lawyers, designed to save them time. The platform finds laws or precedents requested by the user, processes audio materials, fills out documents and builds legal arguments, all in the space of a few minutes.
Ideadrome involved the participants undergoing a week-long intensive learning programme led by professional mentors. The startuppers learned about validating ideas, prototyping, creating a business model, team management, solving financial or legal issues necessary for a startup, and presenting the idea to investors.
Previous participants of the contest have already managed to realise their ideas and take their products to the international market.
