ComCom Media Lab Holds 11th Edition of “Ideadrome”

The Media Lab of the Communications Commission has successfully held the 11th edition of the startup idea contest “Ideadrome.” The two winning teams received cash prizes of GEL 7000 and GEL 3000 respectively. The aim of the contest is to identify startups in the field of digital media, refine and develop their products, and support their establishment in the market.

The panel awarded the first place to the team Lianebi, whose startup is an application that helps parents communicate with their children and cope with difficult situations. Notably, together with “Ideadrome,” Lianebi also won the Global Media Literacy Hackathon.

The second place, by audience decision, was awarded to the team Sealedu, which represents a self-adaptive AI learning platform. The startup is based on MIT’s SEAL framework, which monitors the student’s screen in real time, listens to audio, and automatically adjusts the learning process to the student’s knowledge level and pace during practical work.

As part of “Ideadrome,” participating startup teams underwent a five-day intensive training programme led by the MediaLab accelerator team, full-stack and AI developers, entrepreneurs, product development experts, as well as specialists in finance and legal matters. They received detailed guidance on idea validation, user analysis, marketing, legal and financial issues, prototyping and product refinement, negotiations with investors, process management, and pitching their ideas.

The themes of the 11th edition of “Ideadrome” included digital communication, AI, cybersecurity, protection against disinformation, and information accessibility. Notably, several teams from the previous editions have successfully brought their developed products to international markets.
