ComCom Media Lab Holds Cyber Security Forum
The Media Lab of the Communications Commission held the cyber security forum Tech Trek, which served to strengthen the positions of tech firms and cyber security startups, and to raise awareness in this field. The event focussed on the latest methods for protecting digital assets, innovative data management strategies, and secure ways of storing and processing data.
Tech Trek included interactive training, presentations, a Q&A session and a seminar, where participants obtained practical knowledge from leading industry experts, familiarised themselves with international regulations and Georgian laws on cyber security, and learned about the mechanisms for identifying cyberattacks and monitoring the digital security of their products in real time.
The forum was chaired by the Scientific Cyber Security Association (SCSA) President Maxim Yavich, associated professor of Caucasus University, cybersecurity scholar and expert Giorgi Akhalaia, and Deputy Director of SCSA Giorgi Iashvili.
For more than four years, the Media Lab has been holding important events and seminars to support and promote startups.
