ComCom Media Lab Hosts a Training for Startuppers on Attracting Investment

The Media Lab of the Communications Commission hosted a training for startuppers on the subject of conducting negotiations with investors. The meeting was moderated by Salome Jojua, founder and head of the legal department of 4S, who shared her experience in successful cooperation with investors, legal protection and effective negotiations. Salome Jojua is a certified mediator of the Edwards Mediation Academy and a member of the Georgian Mediation Association.

During the meeting, participants learned about important issues such as the basics of company registration and legal organisation in accordance with Georgian legislation; partners' rights, obligations and methods of protecting their own interests; methods of attracting investment; negotiation strategies; tactics for managing stressful and competitive negotiations; achieving the best deal; and closing a deal.

For more than five years, the Media Lab has been holding important events and other activities to support startups free of charge.
