The Media School of the Communications Commission has hosted a seminar for journalists and journalism students, titled “What is Europe?” the seminar was led by Rusudan Gorgiladze – former research fellow at the Harvard University Weatherhead Center for International Affairs and Regional Director for Eastern Europe at the Harvard Alumni Association. Earlier she was part of the state delegation working on EU-Georgia partnership and cooperation.

The two-day seminar involved interactive discussions about the history of foundation and expansion of the European Union, EU institutions, cultural diversity, political and social arrangements in EU countries, Georgia’s place in Europe, and visions for the future. At the end of the seminar, participants received a certificate.
