ComCom Representatives Take Part in the European Spectrum Management Conference
Head of the Spectrum and Technology Department of the Communications Commission Sandro Karumidze and Head of the Spectrum Management Group Giorgi Papava took part in the 20th European Spectrum Management Conference in Brussels.
The conference discussed important issues such as the European Digital Networks Act, the coexistence of GSO/NGSO satellite systems, the future use of the 7.125–8.5 GHz band, maximising the value of the 6GHz and sub-700 MHz mid-frequency bands for mobile networks, defining a common European position and priorities for the World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC-27), etc.
The goal of the event was to exchange information and share experience on spectrum management policy. The conference was attended by up to 300 participants, including representatives of the telecommunications sector of the European Commission, regulatory authorities of European countries, international and European telecom associations, leading industry associations, and European telecom companies.
