Communications Commission member Ekaterine Imedadze and CEO of the Malta Communications Authority (MCA) Jesmond Bugeja signed a cooperation agreement to enhance the cooperation between the two regulators in the field of electronic communications and exchange information. 

The agreement covers issues such as market analysis, customer empowerment or protection mechanisms, digital map, roaming, universal services and others. During the meeting, the parties also agreed to establish frameworks for the exchange of information and experience, as well as to hold bilateral consultations and organise joint seminars, conferences and forums in the field of electronic communications to study the technical, legal and other aspects of activities of a national regulator. 

Cooperation with fellow regulators and other industry representatives for the purpose of exchanging experience represents one of the main priorities for the Communications Commission.
