Commissioner Ekaterine Imedadze and representative of the IR and Project Management Office, Mzia Gogilashvili, held a meeting with representatives of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the Eastern Partnership Electronic Communications Regulators Network (EaPeReg). The parties agreed to participate in joint events and projects in different areas, including the implementation of 5G network and digital infrastructure map, and harmonisation of digital markets. 

Representatives of the Communications Commission, the newly elected ITU General Secretary Dorin Bogdan-Martins and the Head of the ITU Office for Europe Jaroslaw Ponder agreed on expanding mutual cooperation. 

The bilateral meeting took place during the ITU Plenipotentiary Conference (PP-22), which discussed measures that have been planned and implemented as a result of cooperation between the parties.
