ComCom Trains 100 People in Khelvachauri in Digital Literacy

As part of the Digital Support Programme, the Communications Commission has trained around 100 people from the villages of Acharistskali, Maghlakoni, Kapnistavi, Kirnati, Maradidi and Zeda Jocho in the Municipality of Khelvachauri in media literacy and safe use of the internet. The programme was launched in the municipality on February 13, and around 300 locals have already undergone training. With the help of specialists, participants learned how to search for information, create and use email, use Google Maps and Google Translate, share locations and use online communication tools.

The Log-in Georgia project is co-funded by the World Bank and the European Investment Bank. It is being implemented to support the Georgian State Internetization Programme. The project aims to provide around 500,000 people in 1000 villages and rural settlements in Georgia with access to affordable high-quality internet services, as well as to help develop digital skills and facilitate the use of digital services.
