ComCom Trains 200 People in Khelvachauri as Part of the Digital Support Programme

As part of the Digital Support Programme, the Communications Commission has trained more than 100 people from the villages of Tkhilnari and Acharistskali in the Municipality of Khelvachauri in media literacy and safe use of the internet. The programme was launched in the municipality on 13 February, and around 200 locals have already undergone training.

Participants learned how to search for information, create and use email, use Google Maps and Google Translate, share locations and use communication tools.

The Log-in Georgia project is co-funded by the World Bank and the European Investment Bank. It is being implemented to support the Georgian State Internetization Programme. The project aims to provide around 500,000 people in 1000 villages and rural settlements in Georgia with access to affordable high-quality internet services, as well as to help develop digital skills and facilitate the use of digital services.
