ComCom Trains 450 Locals in Baghdati in Digital Literacy

As part of the Digital Support Programme, the Communications Commission held more than 30 training sessions for over 450 locals in the Municipality of Baghdati in digital literacy and purposeful use of the internet. The trainees learned about important issues such as finding the desired information online, using Google applications and social platforms, etc. 

The target settlements in the Municipality of Baghdati are: Dimi, Khani, Kveda Zegani, Rokhi, Saimedo, Sakraula, Vartsikhe, and Zeda Zegani. The digital ambassador of the programme in the Municipality of Baghdati can be contacted on the following number: 555 74 28 48. The programme is due to run in the munipality until the end of November. 

The Digital Support Programme is part of the Log-in Georgia project, which is co-funded by the World Bank and the European Investment Bank. It is being implemented to support the Georgian State Internetization Programme. The project aims to provide around 500,000 people in rural settlements in Georgia with access to affordable high-quality internet services, as well as to help develop digital skills and facilitate the use of digital services.
