ComCom Trains Entrepreneurs in Martvili in Purposeful and Safe Use of the Internet
As part of the Digital Support Programme, the communications Commission has trained entrepreneurs in Martvili. The training took place at the Martvili Town Hall, and was devoted to the subject of “Purposeful and Safe Use of the Internet.”
Local entrepreneurs received detailed information on issues that they will use effectively for their own business activities, including finding the desired information online, using Google applications, using social media platforms in a purposeful manner, etc.
The Digital Support Programme, which has been implemented by the the Communications Commission since 2022, aims to teach the rural population the targeted and safe use of the internet. Any person residing in the target settlements, aged 14 and above, can participate in the programme free of charge. The Communications Commission has already trained more than 14,000 beneficiaries from over 300 target villages and settlements in 20 municipalities. The programme is currently being implemented in the municipalities f Martvili, Chiatura and Gori.
