Finalists of the Start-up Contest “Ideadrome” Organized by Media Lab Revealed

The Media Lab of the Communications Commission is successfully holding the third edition of the start-up contest “Ideadrome.” The five top start-up ideas have already been identified. All five teams are taking part in a week-long training program at the Media Lab. The selected teams have an opportunity to obtain the necessary knowledge for their future activities and prepare to export their start-up ideas on the global market. The main goal of the Media Lab in this process was to discover potential start-ups and help them turn their ideas into reality.

The Media Lab of the Communications Commission is organizing “Ideadrome” for the third time. The prize fund of the contest is GEL 10,000. The final will be held on November 27. The winners will be selected by a competent jury panel.

The finalists of the contest are working on facilitating digital communication, educational gaming, developing mechanisms to counter fake news, and facilitating access to information. The selected teams will work with mentors at the Media Lab for a period of one week, discussing important topics such as: validating the star-tup idea, team management, decision-making strategies, prioritization and product testing, easy access to funding, selecting the appropriate business model for the idea and creating the ideal presentation. All trainings will include practical tasks, allowing the entrepreneurs to immediately turn their newly acquired knowledge into actual experience.
