Goga Gulordava Elected Chairman of the Communications Commission
On 29 January 2026, members of the Communications Commission elected Goga Gulordava as Chairman of the Commission for a three-year term. In accordance with the legislation, the election was held by secret ballot, with all members of the Commission supporting Mr. Gulordava’s candidacy.
Goga Gulordava has 26 years of professional experience. Prior to joining the Communications Commission, he worked for two years as a financial monitor and auditor at Teleimedi. From 2020 to 2025, he served as an advisor to the General Director of the Georgian State Electrosystem and later as Director of Internal Audit at the same institution. Between 2016 and 2020, he was a Member of the Parliament of Georgia, and from 2013 to 2016 he served as the head of Tsalenjikha Municipality.
Goga Gulordava is a lawyer by profession. From 1995 to 2000, he studied at the Faculty of Law of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. At various times, he has completed training courses in customs and tax legislation, public procurement, financial accounting, as well as courses for auditors and prosecutors in Georgia and abroad, including the United States and Germany. In addition, he has passed the qualification exam for prosecutorial staff.
In December 2025, the Parliament of Georgia approved Goga Gulordava as a ComCom member unanimously, with 77 votes.
