The Media Academy of the Communications Commission hosted a seminar for media representatives and students of the faculty of journalism. Titled “Humour and Humorous Formats,” the seminar was led by producer Irakli Kakabadze and TV presenter Irakli Vakhtangishvili.

The topic of discussion during the meeting was the meaning of humour, and to what extent it can be learned the same way that people learn different subjects or sports. Participants learned about the main forms of humour and the formulas that can be used to come up with good jokes. Trainers used practical examples to discuss the main rules for creating a humorous format. At the end of the meeting, participants received appropriate certificates.

For more than four years, the Media Academy has been holding important seminars and lectures to support the media and raise the qualifications of people working in this field.
