In 2023, the ComCom Media School Held 13 Seminars and Published 119 Materials on Media Criticism Platform
The 2023 Activity Report of the Communications Commission presents the activities of the Media School, which shows that the school has been actively working for more than four years to implement media standards and help media representatives and people interested in this industry to raise their qualifications. Last year, the Media School held 13 seminars for producers, as well as active and rookie journalists and cameramen.
In addition to the seminars, for more than two years the Media School has been providing an opportunity for people interested in media to gather important knowledge with the help of online masterclasses by professional mentors. In 2023, the Masterclass programme was expanded with a cycle of lectures by 3 new authors, which are aimed at media managers, journalists, producers and people who are interested in creating media products. The Masterclass videos have a total of over 3 million views on YouTube.

In the era of modern technology, where misinformation and manipulation are rife, the media criticism platform creates a professional and qualified information filter while also raising public awareness and implementing professional standards among media representatives. In the past year, the Mediacritic platform published 119 materials, including 68 reviews, 22 articles and 29 blogs. The number of Facebook subscribers increased by 3,700 to a total of 24,000. The platform had 335,000 visitors in 2023.
