Learn Journalism in a Real Environment – ComCom Media School Studio Announces a Competition for a Four-Month Practical Course

The Media School of the Communications Commission offers undergraduate or graduate students, as well as other persons interested in journalism, a unique opportunity to undergo a 4-month intensive practical course at the Media School Studio, where selected candidates will be able to work for an information service specially created for them, as well as to independently create media products and complete their media portfolio with the help of professional mentors. Specifically, participants will prepare programmes, television and radio stories, in addition to mastering news narration, the art of interviewing, video shooting and editing, production, programming and working with multimedia formats. The Media School Studio offers the opportunity to acquire the aforementioned skills and knowledge free of charge.
Applicants will be able to register for the Media School Studio courses after passing a three-stage selection contest. At the initial stage, interested persons should submit an application and register by 17 July. During the second stage, candidates will pass a written test at the Media Academy on 22 July. Finally, oral interviews will be held with the selected candidates on 25 and 26 July. In case of successfully passing all three stages, participants will obtain practical knowledge from a group of practicing media professionals over a period of 4 months and receive a relevant certificate upon completing the course. The Media Academy will recommend successful graduates to future employers.
Educational and working meetings will be held on every working day from 9 September to 27 December, from 10:00 to 18:00, at the Media Academy. All the necessary inventory, techniques and equipment for practical work and work for a real information service will be provided.
