“Media Key” – ComCom Holds Movie Screening for Children and Parents

As part of the “Media Key” project, which aims to develop critical thinking skills among teenagers, the Communications Commission held a movie screening and discussion in Mziuri for school pupils and their parents.

The screening of short animated film Zolemia was followed by a discussion on the subject of “Films as a Tool for the Development of Critical Thinking,” which was led by filmmaker Nana Samanishvili, producer and researcher Ketevan Janelidze, film scholar Neno Kavtaradze and psychologist Nino Labartkava. Topics of discussion included film content, the role of parents, the influence of animation on the psychology of adolescents, age appropriateness of films, and psychological aspects of the development of critical thinking.
