Magticom once again accounted for the largest number of residential subscribers in 2024 with 518,000, which is 10,000 more than in the previous year. Over the past 5 years, the number of residential and business subscribers using fibre-optic technology has increased at a cumulative annual rate of 5.8%. In 2024, the number of subscribers using this technology increased by 46,000 (4.7%) year-over-year and amounted to 1,043,000. As in the previous year, only the number of fibre-optic subscribers increased in 2024, while the number of subscribers using other technologies decreased. This is due to the development of the fibre-optic broadband network, which has enhanced its availability.

The number of subscribers using fixed wireless access technology decreased by 2,000 year-over-year and amounted to 97,000. The number of xDSL subscribers fell by 3,000 compared to the previous year, to a total of 12,000. The number of fixed LTE subscribers remained unchanged at 4,000. This is due to the fact that fibre-optic technology offers subscribers faster internet, higher bandwidth and lower latency. Therefore, authorised undertakings are increasingly trying to replace the outdated and limited technologies with fibre-optic technology.

Starlink's entry into the Georgian market in 2023 made satellite technology available. The number of Starlink subscribers increased by 1,869 in 2024 and amounted to 2,360.
