President of the National Bank of Georgia Koba Gvenetadze held a workshop for journalists, producers and TV presenters at the Media Academy of the Communications Commission. Mr. Gvenetadze informed the journalists about the macroeconomic trends in Georgia. Media representatives also learned abot the functions, structure and tasks of NBG. The meeting continued in Q&A format, with important issues such as inflation, exchange rate, interest rates and others being discussed. 

Due to the fact that the role of the economy and business is one of the most important issues for the development of the country, the Media Academy gave journalists the opportunity to deepen the knowledge necessary for their professional activities. As part of the training process, journalists received answers to all questions of interest from the president of the National Bank, which will help them in their daily activities.
