Pupils of Public School N2 in Ozurgeti Learn to Safely Navigate the Internet through the “Happy Onlife” App

The Communications Commission has introduced 3rd grade pupils of Public School N2 in Ozurgeti to the “Happy Onlife” app. A total of 25 pupils took part in the training, where they learned about the rules of safely navigating the internet and ways to protect themselves from online threats and cyberbullying.

“Happy Onlife” is an online app that uses games to teach children how to safely and responsibly use digital media, as well as critically assess and analyse online content. “Happy Onlife,” which is recognised as one of the most effective media literacy projects in the European Union, helps parents and teachers actively develop the media literacy skills of the children and protect them from cyberbullying. The app has been translated into 9 languages. The Communications Commission has developed the Georgian version of “Happy Onlife,” which can be downloaded free of charge on mobile devices (IOS and Android) and personal computers.
