The Communications Commission Continues to Deepen Cooperation with International Partners

The Communications Commission continues to actively work on deepening the cooperation with international partners. During the four-lateral summit of networks of regulators for electronic communications in Croatia, the Commission held successful talks with the Austrian media and electronic communications authority and signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at sharingexpertise and experience in the field of electronic communications with each other.

Furthermore, ComCom representatives held bilateral meetings with their EU counterparts. Meetings were held with the heads of regulatory bodies from Austria, Croatia, Ireland, Greece, Poland and Czech Republic.

Deepening international cooperation and sharing the best experiences with regulatory networks remains an important priority for the Communications Commission. Based on EU-Georgia Association Agreement, this cooperation will help the Commission to deepen its expertise on key issues such as managing the 5G spectrum, enhancing competition on the electronic communications market and developing broadband services.

Commissioner Ekaterine Imedadze and ComCom representatives took part in the four-lateral summit of networks of regulators for electronic communications held in Croatia. The objective of the annual summit was to deepen the relations between countries in the field of electronic communications, share their experiences and implement joint projects.
