The Communications Commission has upheld the complaint from the United National Movement (UNM) against Imedi TV and issued a record of administrative offence to the broadcaster. The complaint stated that Imedi TV refused to place political adverts submitted by UNM. The party twice asked the broadcaster to place adverts, but Imedi TV did not air the clips.
