Today, May 19th, RIPE- NCC Regional Meeting on the topic – “Virtual Security and Operating Systems” has opened. A weeklong meeting has been opened by the Chairman of GNCC Mr. Vakhtang Abashidze and the Managing Director of RIPE NCC Mr. Axel Pawlik.

GNCC congratulates communications specialists with the World Communications Day. On June 17th, Georgia celebrates professional day of communications.

GNCC has approved free radio frequency resources for issuance of broadcasting licenses and has published the list publically.

GNCC has begun proceedings in regards to the complaint submitted by TV-Company “Rioni” against TV-Company “Mega TV.” 

The “Newspaper Batumelebi” has addressed GNCC with a complaint against the Georgian Patriarchate Television “Ertsulovneba.”

GNCC has granted numbering resource - 2015 to the organizing committee of the “European Youth Olympic Festival Tbilisi 2015”for managing its hotline.

GNCC, under the Decree N882 of April 24, of the Government of Georgia, has begun to investigate an issue in regards to the support of “GDS TV” provided by the Ministry of Defense of Georgia.

GNCC, in accordance with the decision made on March 26 has announced a contest in the city of Bolnisi to issue private-general radio broadcasting license at 107.3 FM.

GNCC has begun proceedings regarding the complaint submitted by “The Eurasia Partnership Foundation” NNLP against TV companies “Rustavi 2” and “Trialeti.”
