The Commission has issued a written warning on an entity authorized for broadcasting “Rima” Ltd for the failure to submit regulation fee calculations and the forms of statistical reports.

Analogue terrestrial broadcasting signal transmitting stations to be shut down in Zemo Svaneti, Samtskhe Javakheti, Kakheti and Mtskheta-Mtianeti on August 25, 2015, at 10 am. This is the final list of broadcasting coverage service zones where analogue terrestrial broadcasting will be turned off.

GNCC has executed the decision of January 27, 2014, of Tbilisi City Court Administrative Board and in accordance to the decision made on July 16, 2015

“R.B.G” Ltd has addressed GNCC with an application for the modification of the broadcasting license where it has been noted, that company wished to carry out specialized broadcasting instead of a private general broadcasting.

In accordance to the Georgian law “on Broadcasting,” “TV-Company Maestro” has addressed GNCC in regard to the authorization procedures.

In accordance to the Georgian law “on Broadcasting,” GNCC has carried out the authorization of “Publisher Etaloni.” The company has requested an authorization for 24 hour specialized (educational/entertainment) broadcasting.

GNCC has received a complaint submitted by non-governmental organization “Human Rights Center” against “Civic Educational Fund” (brand name Tabula), on July 30.

GNCC has made a decision to impose administrative responsibility on “Akhalneti” and has fined the company to pay the statutory minimum of 3000 GEL.

The companies have unanimously addressed the Commission requesting prior consent related to “Silknet’s” intentions regarding the purchase of “Magticom” Ltd’s current operating assets.
