The Communications Commission has announced competitions for specialised radio broadcasting licenses in Tbilisi, Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Racha, Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti, Zemo Svaneti and Guria. In the first quarter of 2022, advertising revenues of TV and radio broadcasters increased by 10.6% to GEL 17.8 million. Commercial advertising revenues of TV broadcasters increased by 11.3% year-on-year to GEL 16.3 million.
